Matthew (Matt) is one of our partners here at Ozark Legacy Insurance Partners and works out of our Poplar Bluff location. Matt grew up in Southeast Missouri and briefly attended both Pensacola Christian College and Three Rivers College, but ultimately decided that following through with training in the insurance industry. Matt has not only worked in every position in our agency, including the front desk, but has also worked for other ventures as well, such as being a congressional staffer managing a local office for them.
Since joining the agency in 2010, Matt has enjoyed working in an ever-changing insurance industry, meeting and building relationships with many clients, and continuing his education through the insurance industry.
Outside of the office, Matt has been involved with many different non-profit organizations helping to raise money mainly for the benefit of children and different religious organizations. Outside of a few other business ventures Matt owns, Matt primarily loves spending time with his wife, Dorthy, and six kids. Hobbies with them include traveling, fishing, and even cheering on their beloved Cardinals.
Matt, Dorthy and their children currently reside in Puxico, MO only a short drive from Poplar Bluff. You will probably see them all throughout SEMO, as Matt believes that local community is much more than just the city you live in but the local region.
